If you are a fan of Station Eleven, Silo, or The Road. If you are a fan of Andy Weir. If you are a fan of music. If you are Canadian. Think about giving my book a try. Help an indie out. The novel releases today on Amazon:

The music is already out on my YouTube channel.
I did something really different this time. Mostly, I didn’t tell people I was even working on this until it was almost done. I got new beta readers. I didn’t use my normal editing process. It’s a bit of a surprise release. I picked Canada Day because the book takes place mainly in and around Vancouver.
What is Cobalt Lungs really about?
This story is a love letter to many things:
– The city and region I grew up in (Langley/Vancouver)
– Science (Cobalt Lungs is a horrifying condition)
– Music (One of my main characters is an aspiring pianist/jazz musician)
– Falling in love (lots of me and my wife inspired the relationship in this book)
– Growing (have you read Someone’s Story? There are some theme extensions of that story here)
– Some of my favorite stories and authors (the group I listed at the start of the post)
Ultimately I would say this is Someone’s Story and Pulse. I took the best ideas and skills from my prior stories, and combined them. It took 3 books to get the skills to write this. I am very proud of the story and excited to share what I have been cooking the last few years.
Here is the music that goes with the book:
