“Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
I fall over and over again. That is life. Someone’s Story exists because of all my failures and falling. I have failed enough for a few lifetimes. Will I stop? Nope. Failing is learning. What I learned is the people around you will catch you when you fall.
Today I want to give thanks to the people that made this possible. The ones who bet on me, when all I had was an idea and a track record of falling.
Sheila Harris – brilliant! The early notes she gave me while editing Someone’s Story changed the book into what you see now and they opened my eyes to a new direction. She also put the finishing touches on a few critical places in the final manuscript. This story belongs to her as much as me.
Jessica Janssens – you let me take this crazy journey. When this started there was no guarantee anything would materialize. You let me be free and you trusted I would produce. Plus that cover is sooo gooood. Thank you for that painting!
Michaela Bellec – you were my friend when I was alone. You held my hand through the early days of my social media. You have been hugely supportive of the book and this journey. Stay strong sis!
Sarah Ritchie – you came in late but you have influenced my work tons. Your keen eye for detail and structure is invaluable. Thanks for cleaning this project up with me!
Mom – you let me do it my way all along. You let me fall. You taught me how to learn and how to deal with failure. Those two things are the primary ingredients in my process 🙂

At the end of the day, I am one person who fails and falls all the time. When you look at this book, know there was a team of people behind it. I am so proud of the finished product, but this isn’t the passion project of one person. Nope, tons of people were pouring their souls into this work to keep it from being just another failure! They all deserve a piece of the credit, I am nothing without them…
